After a 2 hour presentation from Burks Green (the developer) to a FULL council meeting on Monday 13th it has been decided to put back the planning decision to the 2nd August 2005.

The model is available for inspection at the planning department reception for members of the public to view.

The planning department are not keen for this model to travel to the one stop shop at Waltham Cross because they feel the model is in the correct venue.

 

The model will be on display at the council open day with planning inspectors answering any questions raised by the public.

The Action Group has asked to have a stall at the open day. Unfortunately this was refused due to the lateness of applying. (We applied last Monday).

 

The Action Group has contacted Mr. P. Mason Chairman of the committee in order to seek permission to make representations to the planning committee so that councillors could make an informed decision regarding the application. To date no reply.

 

Again contacting Mr. S. Billington on the same matter we were told we could not make representation because it was not a full council. Yet the meeting on 13th June was presented to the FULL council. This fact was not forth coming from the council.
